Summertime

We are having a great summer. Here are a few of the things we love most about it.

This little kiddie pool is providing hours of fun.

The boys all gave it a try and loved every minute of "flying"

110 jars of plum jam.

We have a hard time keeping clothes on Jacob these days.

Backyard camping in our new tent. The best part being that it can be divided into two rooms - the boys finally have their own room.

Andrew LOVED the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. He was sitting under the swings in this one.

Tired but happy.

Dave came, they rode bikes and we all had a great time together.

Utah Trip Continued

We were lucky enough to meet up with Natalie and her girls at the childrens museum. Just love her.
Brittany's kids are growing up and we all had a great time slip and sliding in the back yard.
Nanny and Papa packed sweet 4th of July goody bags for all the grandkids. These guys were in heaven.
To watch the fireworks, we plopped down in a parking lot that overlooked the Provo Valley.

After going to Kneaders for breakfast, we went to Bridal Veil Falls and the kids played in the water.

Just one of the boys

Since we came back from Utah, he has been super interested in everything they are doing. The best thing is how Andrew looks to Jacob as the authority, which Jacob  just eats up so he loves to show Andrew all his favorite things.

Grandma and Grandpa's House

The older boys and I drove to Utah to visit family while Chris stayed home with Andrew. Grandma and Grandpa McQueen's house had tons of fun stuff like usual. Grandpa even got on the trampoline with all three boys. We had a good reunion with Chris' high school buddies, took a trip to SLC children's museum, and grandma took the older boys swimming.

 The best spinny chair ever...

Natural Bridges State Beach

Today we went to the beach after church. It was the perfect weather and we found a great beach spot called Natural Bridges State Beach. It was pretty accessible and it had shallow tide pools that even Jakee could play in.

Alex used his new iPod touch to capture the pictures of the day. It was Andrew's first  beach trip and the first time we took a family of six on a beach adventure.

We parked ourselves behind this lifeguard tower and had perfect amount of shade and view of the beach.
Alex wanted to show off his muscles and pick up the natural bridge.

Sand angels right before we said goodbye.
Jacob started out this day a boy and ended it a man. He was such a good boy today.
