We met in the morning with Brett, Gloria and kids, Preston, his girlfriend Brie, April, Nielsen Family, Justin and Kathryn's family, Brandon, Katie and Eleanor, Mom, Dad, and Aunt Kris.
Riverside National Cemetery provided a beautiful setting for his burial. They gave us 30 minutes "under the canopy" to say a few words, sing a song, commemorate Granpas' veteran status with a flag folding and gun salute. Then we drove to the site of his burial and watched his casket be placed in the ground and covered with earth.
