Alex is all in to creating new things out of our recycled products. So when he gets that idea and he sees that we have 8 paper towel rolls waiting in our recycling bin... great things happen.
If you can't tell from the picture we made a series of tracks and cups for a marble to travel. We worked on this for an hour or so. Aaron loved it so much when it was his turn to put the marble down he would say "okay marble... ready... go" and with the same anticipation each time watch the marble complete its course and then fall into the big bowl on the floor.

We (Sharon and I) like the way this is an arch high enough for Mom to go under.
Alex takes after his great grandfather who made the first marble game I ever saw from wood.
Sharon is wondering if this would be a way to use all of the short little tubes that her bias tape comes on (all about 1" long). She has about a zillion of them.
Oh, that would be so fun for Abigail. You are an awesome and amazing mom. Too bad you don't live right across the street anymore, so we could come over and play too. :(
What a fun and clever activity. I bet they had a ball. It shows you definitely don't need expensive toys to be entertained.
Emily, you are the coolest mom.
